Hey Wyatt Warriors, Tom here (Wyatt's Dad). First of all, thanks for taking on the challenge to raise money and awareness about DMD! Secondly, thank you for taking on the challenge to run your guts out! Last June the Rock n' Roll Seattle was a blast! All the hard work is worth the reward of that long journey. If we can all make it through the Holiday's, I know we can all run a few 13 or 26 miles huh? No prob. Today I ran playing in the annual Turkeybowl game in Lake Stevens. Tomorrow looks like a good day for a jog. Thanks everybody. GO TEAM WYATT!

Okay guys...

Went to the Dr. and basically I am old. I have some arthritis in my back that is causing the pain. I have began physical therapy. Hopefully I will be back on track soon! Keep running everyone! We will hopefully know more in the next couple of weeks about fundraising!

what-up with the whatup?

Happy tuesday to all :)

Today I ran 1.5 miles in the beautiful western washington weather ha ha ha. Lynkoln and i were soaked after the wonderful adventure. Just some advice to all u hard working blogger's dont forget your rain coat!

Week 2!!

I'm on week 2 of my marathon rookie training schedule and it's going well. This week it's just 25 minutes of combined running/walking every other day, it's going well. Wish the weather was a bit better, I prefer running outdoors versus at the gym.....

Hi Ho Hi Ho off to the Doctor I Go!

Hey there!

I am excersizing everyday. Unfortunately, not running still. Found out that I have some issues with my back that I have to get worked out. My lower back L5-S1 have reduced disk space and I have some fussion going on. So off to physical therapy and hopefully I will be running soon!

I am, are you?

I am running.

It's typically pretty dark, almost always cold, and often wet. Sometimes it's relaxing, and others I get chased by dogs.

But I am running. Roughly 5 miles on the easy days, 7 or so on the good one's.

I'm pretty sure I need new shoes - or new feet - either way...

My name is Wyatt

Hi! My name is Wyatt, I'm 20 months old. Thank you for being on "MY TEAM!" I'm so little that I don't even know that I have a disease. I look and act like any other baby. I spill my milk, spit up at the worst possible moments and I cry at 2:00am when Mommy and Daddy want to sleep. My parents hope that with all your help in raising money that I NEVER will know that I'm sick. Help me and my parents find a CURE.

Love, Wyatt.

Running for Wyatt

Today marks the beginning of a new journey for most of us. June 26, 2010 will be the day we will run for Wyatt.

The purpose of this blog is for each one of us to log in and post our progress in the training for the "Run for our Sons" half marathon/full marathon.

I know that my journey has not begun. I have been delaying the training but I am hoping in the next week I will be able to get motivated.

So please use this site to give us updated progress. Maybe for those less inspired, including myself, we will find inspiration in a blog post to get ready for our journey on June 26, 2010.

Thanks!
Alisa
